In a tough game on the hot and sunny pitch of Maple Grove Rugby Park last Sunday, the senior laden Crusaders physically dominated Minnedosa. Despite numerous penalties the Crusaders rucked out their 3rd straight Provincial title 22-12.  The Crusaders were led well by several talented grade 12's playing their last game in a maroon jersey.

Standout performances by Nicholas Cobb, Nick Gladu, Steven Spikula, Chris Thomas and Luke McKim provided the senior leadership to inspire their team to victory under tough conditions.  The forwards rucked very hard all game and the backs had some tough tackles and running to do against Minnedosa's physical backs and lancing forwards.

Despite being down early the Crusaders stormed back with a multi-phase forward supported run that started with St. Paul's fullback Chris Thomas to score a beautiful try that proved to be the turning point in the game.

Congrats to all the graduating players and a huge thank-you to all the volunteer coaches that make St. Paul's rugby possible and so successful.
