On a cool but calm day out in Spruce Woods Provincial Park, the Crusader Junior Varsity team put on a running display that hasn't been seen in years.

Shiloh Johnson led the Cru once again finishing 2nd overall in the provincial meet. Not far behind him was the grade 9 talent of Shane Dillon in 6th place. Evan Pfrimmer ran a tremendous race placing 10th followed by Ben Borys 16th and Mark Pulak in 19th. There were 230 runners in this race.

The Cru's team score, an incredible 34 points was well ahead of second place Kelvin High School who scored 76 points.

This is the 9th Provincial Title for the JV cross country program in the past 10 ten years.

In the varsity race the Cru ran with their hearts but came up a little short. Congrats to the team of Soren Fredrickson (19th), Kahlil Diaz-Hammond (30th), Andrew Proven (35th), Neil Redpath (50th) and Myles Dancho (51) who have represented the school with class and determination.

Congrats to all of the 45 Orange headed runners who competed and ran their best on a very hilly and difficult course.
