The St. Paul’s community packed their bags, grabbed their boarding passes and took flight.
On May 24, over 400 guests gathered for “Taking Flight,” a fashion show presented by Pinnacle in support of the Magis Fund.
Because of you – our sponsors, volunteers and community members; over $70,000 was raised in support of the Magis Fund. Thank you.
Attendees checked in and successfully made it through security and a pre-flight safety demo. Our flight CRU later walked the runway sporting the latest travel fashion from:
Aldo Formal Wear | Chestnut Lane | Crusader Shoppe | Danali | EPH Apparel | HBC – Polo Park | Hush Collection | Lennard Taylor | Mad About Style | Mondetta Clothing | October Boutique | Silver Jeans
Alec Compton ’22 then brought it all home by reminding us of our reason for gathering: The Magis Fund, which provides financial assistance to students who cannot otherwise participate in school life fully – allowing students to have futures as bright as the endless sky.
This successful evening could not be done without the very important contribution of our corporate and individual sponsors, who continue to support our community and the Magis Fund.
The Fashion Show would not be possible without the support of the St. Paul's High School Parent Guild and the wonderful parent volunteer committee who dedicate countless hours to make the Fashion Show one of the best events of the year, and for that, we are truly grateful.

"Magis" is a Latin word that means "more" or "better." In particular, it refers to the Ignatian philosophy of doing more for Christ, and thus, for others.
The annual St. Paul's High School Fashion Show generates revenue for the Magis Fund. Established in 2010, this fund provides financial assistance to students who cannot otherwise afford to fully participate in school life. Band instrument rentals, sports equipment, tutors, school trips, school attire, bus tickets, lunch money, and graduation costs are some of the many areas of need supported by the Magis Fund.
The Magis Fund compliments the bursary program and the long-standing Jesuit tradition of helping any student and family in need. Through your attendance and support of the Fashion Show, you help change a life.
