St. Paul’s High School is pleased to announce Mr. Paul Soubry ’80 as the 2023 Ignatian Challenge Award recipient for this year’s Tribute Dinner.
“The Ignatian Challenge Award recognizes individuals who embrace the ideals of St. Ignatius of Loyola and through their leadership and commitment to service, are examples for our students to become men for others,” states Kevin Booth ’78, President of St. Paul’s High School. “We are thrilled to honour Paul Soubry’s leadership and commitment to our community, as he exemplifies the ideals of a Jesuit education.”
The Ignatian Challenge Award will be awarded to Paul at the 28th Annual Ignatian Challenge Award Tribute Dinner at the RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg on Tuesday, November 7, 2023.

In the 2022-23 school year, one in five students, who could not otherwise afford to attend St. Paul’s High School, received tuition assistance totalling over $600,000.
The Ignatian Challenge Award recognizes individuals within our community who embrace the ideals of St. Ignatius Loyola and who reflect the characteristics and qualities inherent in a Jesuit education at St. Paul's High School. Award recipients, through their leadership and commitment to service, become examples for our students of a lived faith and philosophy of becoming men and women for others. The award is bestowed annually at the St. Paul's High School Tribute Dinner.
