Honouring Mrs. Nancy & Mr. Carmine '76 Militano

St. Paul’s High School is pleased to announce Mrs. Nancy and Mr. Carmine ’76 Militano as the 2021 Ignatian Challenge Award recipients for the 2021 Tribute Dinner on November 1, 2022.

Kevin Booth ’78, St. Paul’s High School President, notes that “Ignatian spirituality emphasizes that effective love is shown in deeds. It offers a vision of God who is alive and active in the world and in people’s lives. Nancy and Carmine are such people of deep faith and commitment. They are people for others who have truly put their love into action through their work, family, and community. In this way, they hope to create a more just and humane world.”

The Ignatian Challenge Award recognizes individuals within our community who embrace the ideals of St. Ignatius of Loyola and reflect the characteristics and qualities inherent in a Jesuit education at St. Paul’s High School. Through their leadership and commitment to service, award recipients become examples for our students of a lived faith and philosophy of becoming men and women for others. The proceeds of the annual Tribute Dinner support the bursary program, an essential aspect of a Jesuit education, ensuring accessibility to all qualified applicants.

The Ignatian Challenge Award will be awarded to Carmine & Nancy at the 27th Annual Ignatian Challenge Award Tribute Dinner at the RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg on Tuesday, November 1, 2022.
