Thirty intrepid Crusader varsity rugby players and four coaches faced the snow, rains and cold of Brandon on Saturday in and early series of exhibition games against Westman teams.  The Cru came out with power and rapid ball movement to defeat Minnedosa 22-0 in the first game.  In the second match, played under welcome sunshine, the Crusaders took their game to new heights with skilled ball movement, solid scrumming and a voracious defensive effort.

The end result was a convoncing 39-0 defeat of Swan Valley. Congratulations to all the players, many of which were in their first game against another school.  Special thanks to all the parents and fans that came out to Brandon to support the team.
