St. Paul's High School would like to congratulate long-time supporter and friend, Mrs. Janice Filmon, on her recent appointment as Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba.

Mrs. Filmon has an extensive history with St. Paul's High School, as a past parent, a volunteer and a mentor to many St. Paul's students through the Manitoba A.L.I.V.E. program. In 2005, along with her husband Mr. Gary Filmon, she received the highest honour bestowed by St. Paul's High School, the Ignatian Challenge Award.

Mrs. Filmon's son David '84 is presently serving as Chair of the Board of Directors and grandsons Adam '16 and Spencer '17 currently attend St. Paul's High School.

We wish Mrs. Filmon the very best in her role as the province's vice-regal representative, a role in which she will represent all Manitobans with pride and dignity.
